When you skip breakfast the message your body gets is that it needs to conserve rather than burn any incoming calories. So it is a good thing to have breakfast, even if it is a big breakfast, for someone who wants to keep their waistline good.

Experts recommend eating a full breakfast that provides all nutrients, carbohydrates, and proteins. Big breakfast is okay as long as you burn those calories later that day. The most important to keep your waistline is “calories in, calories out”. A good choice for breakfast foods is high-fiber cereal, low-fat milk or protein, high-fiber toast, protein bar, yogurt, and fruits. You need to pay attention to the sugar level. If it has a high protein and carbohydrates, it’s still okay. Just remember the “calories in, calories out”!
